For over 22 years, the founder of HelpFamilies, has been the leader in providing intervention services to families and individuals in need, where traditional methods have been unsuccessful. After recognizing a need to better reach a larger population of people, Helpfamilies was Formed. HelpFamilies works with individuals on the basis of their needs, rather than by what traditional approaches say should work. Each client's intervention strategies are developed solely on the assessment and need of the individuals, families and setting. HelpFamilies continues to offer the specialized 1:1 intervention services provided by Lenny Gutierrez M.S., however there are several new services offered. HelpFamilies is a California Department of Education (CDE) certified Non-Public Agency (NPA) for student shadows (BII) in public and private schools. In addtion, HelpFamilies is a vendor for 1:1 social recreation services to the regoinal center.
