Who we are

The founder of HelpFamilies, Lenny Gutierrez M. S., began working with individuals and families in 1997.  For the past 25 years, he has provided individualized intervention strategies to families in need across multiple settings.  Lenny works with the observable and measurable (things you can see) “behaviors” across all ages.  It was in the beginning of this journey, Lenny noticed there was a number of individuals and families for whom the "standard" approaches where not able to and help.  As a result, He has spent over 2 decades developing a successful practice to serve the people who were not able to benefit from the models and methods currently available.  It was from this practice that HelpFamilies was created.  HelpFamilies is here to assist individuals and families based on individualized need, rather than trying to make an approach. Each client's services are based on an assessment of need taken during real time observation, feedback and interaction in the natural settings. This allows for each individualized program to be specifically tailored to the individual, family, setting and situation as well as the flexibility to grow and change as needed.
